General Information

This retreat is open to women in AA. The retreat is strictly non-denominational.

Location
St. Francis Retreat Center 703 E. Main Street Dewitt, MI 

 is midway between Lansing and St. Johns. Take the Round Lake/Dewitt exit off of US-27. Turn right, go one mile (around the curve), to light at old/business 27, and continue on Round Lake Road 1.5 miles. Retreat Center entrance will be on the right.

Cost
The cost of the retreat is $150.00 with a deposit of $75.00 to hold your reservation. Please pay when you register using the Venmo code @Dorothy-Elliott-6 or if you need to pay by check please mail to Dorothy Elliott 300 Benjamin Drive, Ypsilanti, MI 48198.  No refunds for cancellations received after May 1st. The cost includes: a 2 person room with two beds, private bath, linens, and four meals along with coffee, tea, water throughout the retreat. 

Requesting a Scholarship

If you are requesting a scholarship, indicate that on the registration page. The cost to you for a scholarship is $75.00. To hold your request, please pay $40.00 at the time of registration and the balance of $35.00 is due by May 1st. You will be notified if you have received a scholarship by April 25th. If you have NOT  been awarded a scholarship your deposit will be refunded.  

Friday-Sunday
Registration starts at 5:30 p.m. with the first meeting beginning at  7:45 p.m. Upon checking in you will receive your name tag, room assignment, agenda and other information you will need for the weekend.  The retreat will end Sunday just after the morning meeting, approximately 12:00 p.m. Dress comfortably. 

Note
There will be activities throughout the weekend: AA meetings, volleyball, free raffles, artsy creations, garden stroll walk around the campus, Disc Golf, games, meditation, yoga, and fireside chats .  A huge favorite is making smores around the fire and sharing stories. Also, bring snacks if you wish. There is a refrigerator to use in the kitchen area. This is a non-smoking facility. There is an area to smoke outside.
